Troop Update May 27, 2010
Hello Troop,
This Monday May 31st we will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade. We will meet at Burke Lumber at 9:00 AM and will end at Tim Horton’s were you can be picked up.
The annual BSA swim test for summer camp will be Wednesday June 2nd from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Waterford Mott High School pool. The cost is $3.00 per person.
Marty Opthoff Eagle Court of Honor is Sunday June 6th at 2 PM. It is being held at Central United Methodist Church.
The Troop’s Court of Honor is Monday June 7th at the Waterford Historical Society.
The Troop’s next campout is June 18th-20th; we will be doing beach camping at Caseville. The permission slip can be found on the Troop’s website at: .
Attached is the Chief Pontiac Trail Report Requirements for the CPT Credential Hike we are doing this fall, 16-17 Oct 2010. It can also be found on the Troop’s Chief Pontiac Trail webpage. All reports need to be in the specified format and are DUE NO LATER THAN 16 AUG 2010. Having the reports due at this time will allow the Troop Leadership to review the reports and return them for any needed corrections prior to submitting them to the CPT committee (reports are due to the committee by 4 SEP 2010, 6 weeks before hike).
We have reservations for 2 crews (24 hikers). So, with a minimum of 4 adults (2 for each crew) and we have 20 spots available for scouts.
