Troop Update – February 11, 2009
February 11th, 2009There is no Troop meeting on Monday February 16th. There will be a PLC meeting at 7:30 PM.
On Saturday February 21st there will be a 5 mile hike for those who need it for rank advancement. We will meet at the church at 9 AM. If you are planning on going on the hike then please attend an orienteering training on Monday February 16th at 7:30 PM.
The permission slips for the March 13th – 15th campout are due on Monday February 23rd. We will be going to Lost Lake for the Sugar Bush weekend. The permission slip is located on the Troop Website – Permission Slip.
The April campout will April 3rd – 5th. We will camp at Firelands Scout Camp in Ohio and going to the NASA Glen Center and the IX Amusement Park. The permission slip will be due on March 23rd and can be found on the Troop Website at – Permission Slip.
The next Court of Honor will be March 23rd.
The Council wild game dinner is March 27th. The cost is $85 and someone at the table will be guaranteed to win a gun. Please see Mr. Newill if you are interested in a ticket.
On Monday April 27th the Troop will show the video “A Time to Tell†to the Troop and Crew. A parent preview will be Monday April 20th. Also on Monday April 20th there will be the Troop Committee Challenge and new parent training.

The next meeting is Monday January 26th.
Dues are due Monday January 26th. Dues are $55; you can pay $30 in January and $25 in February if it fits your budget better.
Order of the Arrow elections will be held on Monday January 26th. It is important ant everyone attends the meeting.
Scout Sunday is Sunday February 1st; the Church is looking for 8 older Scouts or Crew members to be ushers.
The February campout is February 6th and 7th. It will be the Hodag at Camp Agawam. Click here for the permission slip .
